Triple Threat is Spotlight’s signature musical theatre training program, where young performers build skills in singing, dancing, and acting all in one dynamic class. This 1.5-hour weekly musical theatre revue-style class gives students the chance to work on a variety of songs, choreography, and scenes throughout the session, all leading toward a final performance on a professional stage where they can showcase everything they’ve learned.

We offer two troupe levels within this program:

• JUNIOR Triple Threat for students in Grades 1-3

• INTERMEDIATE Triple Threat for students in Grades 4-7

Triple Threat is Spotlight’s signature musical theatre training program and is perfect for performers of all ages and experience levels who are excited to explore singing, acting, and dancing in one dynamic class. This 1.5-hour weekly musical theatre revue-style class gives students the opportunity to work on a wide variety of songs, choreography, and scenes from various musicals throughout the session.

Each week, students train in vocals, learn choreography, explore character work, and develop important performance skills such as stage presence, teamwork, and storytelling. What makes this program especially unique is that What is special about this program is that everyone gets an opportunity to be a lead, an ensemble member, and a scene partner.

Our instructors create a positive and encouraging environment where performers are supported to try new things, take creative risks, and grow both on stage and off. Throughout the session, students rehearse musical numbers that bring together everything they’ve learned in class, all leading toward a final performance at a professional theatre. This culminating experience gives students the chance to step into the spotlight and share their hard work with family and friends while building confidence, developing skills, and experiencing the excitement of performing on stage!
