Junior + Inter Triple Threat
Grades 1-7
Triple Threat is Spotlight’s intro level musical theatre training program, where young performers build skills in singing, dancing, and acting all in one dynamic class. This 1.5-hour weekly musical theatre revue-style class gives students the chance to work on a variety of songs, choreography, and scenes throughout the session, all leading toward a final performance on a professional stage where they can showcase everything they’ve learned.
We offer two troupe levels within this program:
JUNIOR Triple Threat for students in Grades 1-3
INTERMEDIATE Triple Threat for students in Grades 4-7
PROGRAM INFORMATION
For young performers ready to sing louder, dance bigger, and act bolder.
Each week, students train in vocals, learn choreography, explore character work, and develop key performance skills such as stage presence, teamwork, and storytelling. What is special about this program is that everyone gets an equal opportunity to be a featured soloist, an ensemble member, and a scene partner.
Our instructors create a positive and encouraging environment where performers are supported to try new things, take creative risks, and grow both on stage and off. Throughout the session, students rehearse musical numbers that bring together everything they’ve learned in class, all leading toward a final performance at a theatre. This culminating experience gives students the chance to step into the spotlight and share their hard work with family and friends while building confidence, developing skills, and experiencing the excitement of performing on stage!
